AmBloggers should also check out his Amateur Blogging Series. Eric, how about a more prominent sidebar location on your site to highlight this series? Maybe you should do a cute button like Darren did for his beginner series! (Update: he did!) I’d be interested to know how much traffic the series garnered.
I’ve been reading
Eric’s been having some technical problems with the site, but hopefully this will pass and allow him to get back on track with producing some more original thoughts about Blogging!

Awesome, Vince! Thanks so much for the links and great post. If I wasn’t a bit sunburned, I’d be blushing.
ah, I fixed the 404.. Had set up the post before I set up the page.
The Amateur Blogging Series hasn’t brought in droves of traffic, but it has been fairly steady. I’m hoping that as I get the word out to more bloggers, I’ll get some incoming links.
You brought up writing about mistakes, and how I use myself as an example. I’ve thought about doing a series on the blogging mistakes I’ve made, and how to avoid them. Unfortunately, I don’t know if I have enough traffic and statistical details (for a long enough period of time) to support a series like that. Besides, that would be my fifth series, overall, and the fourth for MindFyre. Eh, who knows.
Series are pretty viable methods of generating content for one primary reason: Once you decide on a series topic, the outline and articles seem to just… flow.
…It’s the deciding on a topic that’s difficult. heh.
Just a note…
The link to the Amateur Blogging Series has been updated. All of my series will, henceforth, appear on a single index page (with seperate pages for each series). You can view all of my series at http://www.fyreplace.com/series/
