His explanation makes it seems interesting, but its not anything that hasn’t been done before. I’d also argue that Bloggers link and read each other in a way that is more like a net rather than a tree.
At the risk of being labeled as a chain-link spam (discussed in comment # 4 on that post). I will still link to his post and also technorati tag the designated keyword. I wonder if anybody on his list has actually linked back. It is an obvious link-bait attempt since he’s linking to only the famous, well-known and those who are considered ‘A-lister’.
I’d be surprised if ProBlogger would link to Chrono even though we were both brought up in his post. Not surprisingly I wasn’t targetted, but ironically, I’m the one to respond. Am I just gullible or what!

I’d prefer you’d call me Chrono Cr@cker or just Chrono instead of using my name S.Shreyas. LOL! It’s not that I’m insecure, just that I’ve grown used to people calling me CC that this seems kinda weird. ;p
Let me seee…It is not a link bait attempt at all. Simply because I;m not asking anyone to link to me, instead link to the blogs that you read.. I never wanted anyone to post “Chrono has started this stupid idea”, no sir!
Finally, The only A-Listers I have linked to are Problogger, scobleizer and Techcrunch, cause I read those blogs. Moreso, I have linked to my own friends!!

Hi Vince! I found you in doing a little googling after posting about the Neo-blog Tree. I don’t think it’s any less worthy than “Brrreeeport” was (certainly THAT was nonsense that spread like a virus) and I hope it is more of a success than “Bloggers Good News Day” was. At the very least, people are thinking and creating… and THAT is what blogs are all about: new angles!
What was the Brreeeport? Sheesh, there’s so many angles out there, that I only notice that ones that mention me.. LOL
I do wish you all the best Chrono with the NBT! You’re right that I only saw those names, didn’t know who your friends were.
